Heavy equipment does not behave like a sedan, and shop software written for sedans breaks the moment you point it at an excavator. Meters run on hours. Wear is measured on undercarriage, not tread. Half the work happens in a field two counties away, and the invoice goes out net-30 to a fleet manager who never sets foot in your building.
HeavyBase started as ShopBase and was rebuilt around that reality: engine-hour service intervals, fluid sample tracking, undercarriage wear logging, OEM warranty claim workflows, travel and mileage billing for field service calls, telematics, and fleet customer portals.
