MoneyBase
A private command center for the money.
Self-hosted personal finance with a business side. Accounts sync on their own, an AI coach reads a summary rather than your transactions, and the invoicing suite covers a side business without a second subscription.
The long version
Personal finance apps tend to make money two ways: selling what they learn about your spending, or charging you every month to look at it. MoneyBase does neither. It runs on hardware we own and the database sits on an encrypted volume.
Accounts connect through Plaid and sync themselves. Cash flow, categories, and trends stay current without a spreadsheet. Weekly digests arrive by email, and genuinely urgent cash-flow warnings arrive by text.
There is an AI money coach, and it is deliberately fenced in. It sees a compact financial summary and never the raw transaction list.
The business half handles invoices, estimates, and card payments, so a side business does not need a separate product. Owner draws move money to the personal side and the books stay straight.
