Vacation Pics
The family photo library, kept at home.
A private photo library for a whole family. Everyone uploads, the trips and places sort themselves out, and the originals sit on a drive we own instead of inside somebody else's subscription.
The long version
Family photos scatter across five phones, three cloud accounts, and a hard drive nobody can find. The usual fix is a monthly fee paid to a company that then holds every picture of your children.
Vacation Pics is the other option. Everyone in the family gets an invite and can upload. Photos organize themselves by trip, location, and date, and you can search over what is actually in them.
The originals live on storage we own, in a building we control, at full resolution. There is no plan to be upsold to and nothing sitting between you and your own pictures.
It is invite-based rather than open signup, which is rather the point.
